A very strange housewarming present

buyers advocacyIt’s finally time for the dynamic duo to break up. I’m sorry, universe, that you will no longer witness our hilarity, but it’s truly time Steph and I go our different ways. True, being her roommate these last six months has truly been a highlight, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. We all need to grow up at some point, right? I just hadn’t quite thought Steph would get there quite so soon.

Steph is leaving the nest, taking wing to battle it out in the hurricane that is the Melbourne property market. God knows why she wants to enter that mess, a bubble which I believe to be primed to burst at any moment, but it’s her life and she needs to live it as she chooses. Besides, she can’t say I didn’t warn her, so my duty there is done. Having said that, know that she’s made the choice to settle down, I want her to find the best possible place. Her dream apartment, if you will. Which is why I, unbeknownst to Steph, have been in talks with a couple of different buyers advocacy groups in Melbourne. I just really want her to have the best shot at this, and I know she has a tendency to really rush into things, so I want to curb that if I can in any way. It will be my housewarming gift to her, given a little prematurely.

I know it may seem a little strange, but I did some research before hand, which is how I came up with this idea in the first place, and everything I read said that at least meeting with a couple of buyers advocates in Melbourne could provide truly invaluable advice. I just really want this to go well for Steph, and if I can help out in any way, I will.
